~ necklaces with silver-framed original art pendants ~ This collection consists of necklaces with pendants exhibiting my original graphic art computer-printed on canvas. One side of each pendant is one of my copyrighted jackalart© images. Manipulating a copy of the image with my computer graphics program, I create a kaleidoscopic version of the jackalart© image, and this is also printed onto canvas. The two images are placed back-to-back and sandwiched between two .03"-thick (0.9mm) panes of glass and surrounded with a .999 fine silver frame handcrafted by my husband, Louis. Louis solders a sterling silver bail onto the pendant, and it's ready for me to incorporate into a necklace. I determine what colors, sizes, and shapes of beads I want to attend the pendants, and  I make these of glass, earthenware, porcelain, or polymer clay. Sometimes I decorate my handcrafted beads with glazes, paints, or applied clays. I occasionally include stones we have collected, or commercially available stone, Swarovski® crystal, or vintage glass beads in these necklaces, and sterling silver Bali-style accents are used in all of them. I fabricate the metal clasps and some of the decorative metal components for the necklaces, and Louis processes many of the natural stones.
